Training self-care

Virtual training materials in enhanced lymphoedema self-care were developed during projects conducted through the Centre for Neglected Tropical Diseases at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK.

The LKN Foundation will collect feedback from the countries who  implemented research on the enhanced-care protocol to guide professional redevelopment and expansion of the virtual training tools. An open access online platform will be established and maintained to allow anyone to access quality information on lymphoedema self-care.

NGOs and Program Managers delivering training in lymphoedema management in LF and podoconiosis endemic regions may have free access to existing materials on request.
